eConsult is free to use for NHS patients. Use eConsult to ask your GP surgery about your health symptoms, conditions or treatment. You can even request things like sick notes and GP letters.
- Find your symptom, condition or request.
- Fill out a quick form.
- The practice responds with advice, a prescription or an appointment.
Urgent Appointment
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):
- phone us on 01642 244766, Monday to Friday from 8am
However, if there are no appointments available you can request that you have a telephone consultation with the doctor.
Emergency appointments are available, however if you state that it is an emergency and the doctor feels otherwise then he/she will tell you during your consultation.
We always endeavour to see all sick children as soon as possible, preferably the same day.

Practice nurses
Appointments with the nurses can also be made up to four weeks in advance. They are available Monday to Friday and can treat a number of conditions. Please also ensure that you arrive on time for your appointment with the nurse. If you are 8 or more minutes late you will not be seen and asked to make another appointment.
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am.
