Veteran Friendly Accreditation

At Kings Medical Centre we're proud to support our Armed Forces community as an accredited Veteran Friendly GP Practice.  

There are nearly 1,100 accredited practices in England, helping to support over 2.2 million veterans in England.  Studies suggest veterans may be less likely to seek help oif they feel thier healthcare professionals won't understand their health needs.  

Veteran Friendly accreditation provoides important reassurance that practice understands veterans health needs and can support them.

Additionally, if you or someone you know are experiencing Mental Health difficulties you can access help from the NHS Veterans' Mental Jeslth Transition, Intervention and Liason Service (TILS).  This service provides a range of treatments, from recognising early signs of mental health problems to therapeutic treatments for more complex mental hea;lth difficulties.
